Workshops at CCSCNE are conference sessions in which instruction takes place. The presenter is typically an expert on the topic being presented, and attendees are usually novices. The session may consist of lecture-style or active, hands-on instruction. A workshop runs for three hours on Friday morning, before the conference begins.
Your workshop proposal should contain enough information for the reviewers to evaluate the submission to see how it will fit into the overall program. In particular, your proposal should contain the following:
A detailed description of the session, including the style of instruction and what type of classroom and facilities are needed.
Please follow the instructions below, except that you should use a 10pt font instead of the word-processor default if it is different:
You will have limited time between tutorial proposal acceptance notification and final copy submission. Therefore, we recommend that you format your initial submissions according to this format to save yourself time later.
Workshop Abstract Submission Deadline: December 3, 2007
Acceptance Notification: January 15, 2008
Camera-ready Copy Due: January 31, 2008

If you are submitting more than one workshop proposal, you must repeat this step for every
workshop proposal you submit. You will be assigned a submission number
and will choose your own password. A confirmation will be emailed to
you.
Final versions of accepted workshop proposals should be submitted on the Presenters Page.
Resubmit a workshop proposal that has had changes or corrections made to it.
