CCSCNE Conference: Constraints on Dates
- Conference is usually during the last weekend of April.
But, one should check for Easter and Passover - avoid these weekends.
- Paper submission deadline should be preferably after SIGCSE
conference notifications. This will allow people who did not get
into SIGCSE to consider submitting their papers to CCSCNE.
- Review Submission deadline should be at least one week before
the weekend when the CCSC board meets. The board usually meets in
the first or second weekend of January.
Papers chairs will need the week to decide on acceptance/rejection
and lay out the conference program.
- Date for notifying authors about acceptance/rejection should
be no more than a week after the January meeting.
- Camera ready copy submission date is decided by the national
editor. Normally it is about 10 weeks before the conference date.
Note that the difference between notification date and camera-ready
date should be at least 3 weeks so that accepted authors can
get their camera ready copies in..
